TREND #1. BLACK IS THE NEW GREY

People moving away from grey although it is still one of the popular choices. It is still a great color for bathrooms but Black adds a bit of magnificence to the space. If the color is too bold for you, use it in small scale such as faucets, light fixtures, mirrors and accessories.



TREND # 2. SUBWAY TILE

Subway tiles are timeless and white grout is being replaced by dark grout which makes a bold but still classic contrast with the white subway tile. Also, we have seen the use of other pattern layouts like Herringbone or vertical stacked which are another classic trend for bathrooms.





TREND # 3. TRAVERTINE

As trends turn towards warmer tones, the bathroom is heading in that direction as well and there are new travertine tiles in the market that look beautiful and modern.




TREND #4. TUB-TO-SHOWER-CONVERSION

Homeowners want larger and open shower room that incorporate benches, spa feel faucet system and ambient lighting are been on the mind of many homeowners. TREND #5. FREE STANDING/CLAW FOOT TUBS

We have seen that many homeowners are replacing their Jacuzzi for free standing tubs/claw-foot bathtubs. They come in many styles and add a sculptural touch to the space.





TREND #6. INTEGRATED LIGHTING

Lighting technology has allowed us to to integrate lighting in a bathroom in a different and more impactful way like in this shampoo nook in the shower room or like in this powder room through modern pendant lights and LED oval Mirror.


The light in the shampoo nook highlights the classic marble hexagon while making a perfect contrast with the white polished tile surround it.


The different lights can be used depending on the mood and any of them highlights the beautiful texture in the wall and the statement sink



TREND #7. COMPACT STORAGE SPACES

Compacted storage areas, cabinets, shelves, etc. Hidden cabinets, modern wall shelving, and vanity under space storage will appear less cluttered, allowing the entire bathroom to feel more open and organized
